Lewis Hamilton produced a masterclass drive to clinch the opening round of the 2021 Formula One Championship season. He somehow managed to hold off the hard charging Max Verstappen until the end of the race, while being on a less desirable tire compound. At one point the Brit went wheel-to-wheel with the Dutchman, and still managed to hold on to take a crucial 25 World Championship points.

The Sakhir circuit always produces a great race and is a fantastic looking location, with the multicoloured run-off areas at the side of the track. My painting depicts Hamilton pushing his Mercedes W12 to the limits as he chases another incredible victory.
