Lewis Hamilton - 2019 German GP - Mercedes W10 125 Years Celebration Livery

To celebrate Mercedes' 125 years in Motorsport, and their 200th Grand Prix, the W10 was painted with a special edition one-off livery at the 2019 German GP. The front half of the car was painted white (the originally assigned racing colour for Germany), while the back end was the regular 2019 livery. The middle of the chassis was made to look as though the paint had been scratched away, revealing the iconic silver-arrows design underneath. This was to acknowledge the time when the team had stripped the white paint off the metal bodywork, to help lighten the car, at the 1934 German Grand Prix. By doing this, it exposed the metal bodywork underneath and the silver-arrows nickname was born. This painting was created to celebrate Lewis Hamilton’s German GP pole position, in the unique Mercedes livery. Although it wasn’t to be Hamilton and Mercedes’ day in the dramatic race on the Sunday, the weekend and year were still a huge success for the driver and team combination. This is a celebration for both the legendary Mercedes brand, and their 2019 World Drivers’ and Constructors’ Championship titles.

PRINT

Protected in an outer card wrapping. Sealed in a strong protective tube and sent by Airmail International Track&Sign to ensure safe delivery.
