Known as the first ‘Flying Finn’, Keke Rosberg won many admirers with his flat-out driving. Consistency, however, was still key in the 1982 season, where no one won more than two Grand Prix. The ground-effects on the Williams FW08 was so effective that Rosberg often raced without a front wing, allowing the airflow to move under the car without disruption. This car has become iconic for delivering Finland’s first World Champion as well as the second Driver’s Championship for the Williams team.
