Painting depicting George Russell on his way to his first Mercedes podium at the Australian Grand Prix. Having deservedly gained a seat at the Mercedes team, Russell immediately demonstrated the speed needed to fight at the front of the grid. His consistency and speed was quickly rewarded with his first silverware of the year at Albert Park.
This piece portrays the motion of Russell pushing his W13 to the limit over the colourful curbs of the Melbourne street circuit. As the sun set, the trees and grandstands casted cool shadows over the car, making his silver bodywork appear blue.
