Prost was a formidable driver. His speed and capacity to get the best from every situation, through split-second calculations on track, earned him the nickname, "The Professor". He won 51 races and 4 World Championships, three coming during his time at McLaren.
Here I have depicted the nose of his 1986 car. This was one of his best title wins, having defeated his three championship rivals in a dramatic finale in Australia. His ability to nurse his empty car to the end, while his rivals dropped out around him, perfectly illustrated his talent and cemented his place as one of the all time greats.
